What does the PDF to JPG converter do?

Sometimes you need a page of a PDF as an image: to post a flyer on social media, add a certificate to a slide, attach a single page to a form that only accepts images, or show a menu or brochure on a website.

This tool renders each PDF page as an image using the PyMuPDF rendering engine, which keeps text, vector graphics and fonts sharp. Choose the resolution in DPI (dots per inch): 72 for quick previews, 150 for screens and documents, 200 for sharper text and 300 for print-quality images.

Convert the whole document or only the pages you need by typing a range such as 1-3, 5. Each page becomes a separate image, named with its page number so they stay in order, and you can download them individually or as a ZIP. Password-protected PDFs need the password removed first.

Which DPI and format should you choose?

For social media, websites and slides, 150 DPI JPG is usually ideal: sharp enough to read and small enough to upload quickly. An A4 page at 150 DPI comes out at about 1240 × 1754 pixels.

For documents with lots of small text, diagrams or screenshots, use PNG. It's lossless, so letters don't get the fuzzy edges JPG compression can cause. Expect larger files.

For print, use 300 DPI. An A4 page then becomes about 2480 × 3508 pixels, matching standard print resolution. Higher DPI makes much larger files, so only use it when you really need it.

Businesses often use this to turn a one-page flyer or offer sheet into an image for a Google Business Profile post, a WhatsApp status or a social ad. Convert at 150 DPI, crop the image if needed, and compress it if the platform has a size limit. For ads, test a few different pages or designs to see which one gets the most clicks.

Is it safe to upload my files?

Your files are processed on our own server, not sent to any third-party service, and are deleted automatically 30 minutes after processing. We strip location data from photos when converting them, and we never use your files for anything else.
